The financial industry really will take any good idea (I mean ETFs, not the strategy) and find a way to corrupt it. That said, I think there's *some* logic to the DofD, in that it takes you into under-valued stocks, and away from exhuberance. And any strategy would require bad years to keep delivering good returns on average (otherwise all would do it). It's not one for me though.
