We canned comcast, too expensive. Greedy is a better word. Verizon is not much better.

I wish they would stop increasing prices all the time… they both do this. Give us ONE great cheap low price that never changes. makes budgeting this stuff much easier and we don’t have to call them every 6 months to change services or try to get a better rate.

To bad they wont do promotions anymore everytime I try to call to get them they say they are not doing them anymore for 2 yrs have gotten good deals cause I was going to go to direct tv and the ones who use to take the calls here in my area always gave promotions well they got rid of them and now wont give you anyone I am surprised you got any

Thanks for the tip and the chat transcript. I recently signed up with Comcast because they are the only game in town at my new place. Hopefully when my 6 month promotion runs out, I will have a competitor in place and can employ the same tactic. Consider this page bookmarked!

This is a great tip. I was wondering what to do when my 6 month deal expires in a couple of months.

Lately, I have been dealing with getting installation fees refunded after a miserable installation experience. It has taken three months so far that the refund has been “promised” and not shown up.

My biggest advice when looking at this is to watch your Comcast bill like a hawk. It seems that their promises are not worth all that much without lots of follow up.
